We are a community organization whose mission is to To restore, maintain and operate in a beneficial manner the "Rumsey Town Hall", historic landmark building and grounds. To promote beneficial activities and cooperate with other organizations in the Capay Valley, which protect the integrity of the area and combat community deterioration. To provide a gathering place and forum for the exchange of ideas, information and charitable needs of the residents of the area.
After years of decline, the community joined together, organized as a non-profit, applied for a low interest loan from Yolo County and began a 20 year project to restore our hall.
Our town hall was built in 1906. Since that time a stage has been added. Recently we added a kitchen, storage rooms and two bathrooms. Last year we added a new outdoor deck and patio.
